Alexandra Talbot Memorial Fund

Alexandra Talbot left this world at the age of 21 years old on July 3rd, 2025, after a 20 year battle with a pediatric optic glioma and adrenal insufficiency.

Despite Alex’s difficult journey, she conquered each day with joy. There was nothing she couldn’t do, she just had to do things differently.

The Talbot family established this fund to honor their daughter and sister, and help support other children facing similar medical challenges. Please help Alexandra’s legacy by donating to the Alexandra Talbot Memorial Fund which will help fund research and provide vital resources, compassionate care and hope to families navigating the unimaginable – just as Alex did, with strength and grace.

About Making Headway Foundation

The Alexandra Talbot Memorial Fund is administered by Making Headway Foundation and will directly help families who have a child diagnosed with a brain or spinal cord tumor.

Making Headway provides supportive care and comfort to families of children diagnosed with a brain or spinal cord tumor, before surgery, during the hospital stay, and after the child returns home. Our programs and services are designed to help children and their families cope with the fear, anxiety, and neurological consequences of hospitalization, surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. At the same time, Making Headway is helping to find a cure, funding vital medical research in a field that has long been underfunded.
