In Loving Memory of My Brother Jack

Each year on my birthday, I think about my big brother, Jack, who passed away in 2012 after a two-year battle with brain cancer. He was just 13 years old. When I was little, Jack was everything I wanted to be—kind, brave, and full of life. He still inspires me every day.

Losing him when I was only nine completely changed how I see the world. It taught me how fragile life can be, and how important it is to hold onto the people you love. That’s why I continue to support the Making Headway Foundation, an incredible nonprofit organization that stood by my family when Jack was sick and continues to help thousands of children and families impacted by childhood brain cancer.

If you’re able, I hope you’ll join me in honoring Jack’s memory with a donation to Making Headway. Your support keeps his spirit alive and helps bring comfort, care, and hope to other children and families in need. Thank you.
