Jun and Making Headway

Jun was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, pineoblastoma when he was 18 months old.  He spent close to a year in the hospital receiving chemotherapy and radiation.  Throughout his treatment and even beyond, Making Headway made this impossible situation a little less impossible through their generosity.  He is now 8 years out of treatment and is enjoying being a soccer-loving 10 year old.  

Making Headway Foundation’s mission is to provide care and comfort for children with brain and spinal cord tumors while funding medical research geared to better treatments and a cure. No matter what is happening in the world, Making Headway Foundation will always be focused on providing Care, Comfort, and a Cure for children with brain or spinal cord tumors.
