In 2003, Brian McCabe was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After successful surgery, chemo and radiation therapy, he continues to live a full life.

Making Headway Foundation is a wonderful organization that helps support the patients and the families through numerous ways, from supporting the playroom in the hospital to providing free of charge educational counseling and other services to help with the ongoing challenges many children face whether they are finished with treatment or continue to need medical care.  All have some type of issue they face, always, for the rest of their lives.  In some cases, bereavement support and funeral expense assistance are provided as well.  Not all families are as fortunate as ours.

Making Headway continues all these activities and in recent years has expanded to meet their goal of providing support for more research to help find a cure.  Care and treatments have improved dramatically over the years, so that more children survive. However, a cure would be better than just improved treatments.  Therefore, continued support and increased research is needed.

We hope you will join us to help support this incredible organization at our annual golf outing at Split Rock/Pelham Bay Golf Course in the Bronx.

We plan a day of fun, no special golf skills are required, just the desire to have a good time and support the cause.
